Upgrade Subscription Program (USP)

KeyServer is sold as a perpetual license. To help protect your investment, we encourage customers to subscribe to Upgrade Subscription Program (USP).

The Upgrade Subscription Plan qualifies you to receive all major and minor upgrade versions of KeyServer released during the contract period. Typically, USP is a yearly subscription plan.

USP is optional and can be subscribed to at any time. The date of your purchase of KeyServer is the anniversary date for USP. When you subscribe to USP the date of your initial purchase of KeyServer is the date when USC begins.

USP is charged at the rate of 18% of the price of your KeyServer.

We encourage all KeyServer Users to subscribe to USP so that they will receive all updates to KeyServer as they are released.

Support for KeyServer is provided free of charge. USP is a method of prepaying for future upgrades to KeyServer. USP helps the organisation even out the costs of KeyServer over time.

Adding More Users

You can add more client computers to your KeyServer at any time (in units of 10 clients).

Prior to adding more client computer licenses to your existing KeyServer, we upgrade your KeyServer to the latest shipping version of KeyServer. If you are subscribed to USP then there will be no charge for upgrading your KeyServer to the latest version. By subscribing to USP you can save up to 17% on the costs of future upgrades.

All calculations are made by using the date of purchase of your KeyServer as the anniversary date.
