Case Study - Software Management on a Global or
Enterprise Network- Westinghouse - WA Department of Energy (USA) (PDF)

Since September of 1990, Sassafras Software Inc. has been shipping its industry standard KeyServer® usage management package to sites ranging in size from 10 through 95,000 computers.

Sassafras pioneered the development of license management technology for desktop computing in 1989.

KeyServer was the first management system available for desktop software licensing. Since then Sassafras has been the leading technology innovator in the field. Today KeyServer remains the most comprehensive - and most stable - software usage management system available.

As a leader in licensing technology, we are actively promoting the licensing dialog between network administrators, software publishers, and license service providers. We have presented software licensing issues for discussion at many industry forums including several SIIA (SPA), NSBA, Macworld, and Apple sponsored conferences.

The small sampling of customers below attests to KeyServer’s extreme flexibility and reliability in meeting the needs of a broad variety of sites, regardless of each one’s peculiar mix of technical and administrative requirements.

Please call us or talk to our customers to learn how you can use the proven KeyServer technology to implement a robust and transparent management solution for your software assets.
